Congratulations Team Ohio State Team Athletes! Please see the links below for State Teams for Levels 6-8. Please note- the TOP 8 in each age division are on the State Team. The athlete directly after #8 is the alternate. Regional information will be sent out by the Regional Meet Host and posted online.

- Please note there are NO Petitions to Regionals for level 6, 7, or any Xcel levels.
- Level 8-10 Regional Championship Petition Procedures can be viewed on the Region 5 website. Petition emails must be submitted to region5usag+petition@gmail.com

We are thrilled to share some exciting news for our graduating seniors regarding Regional Championships! Over the past month, we’ve been working on a new process to recognize and support these dedicated athletes.

Currently, petitions for Regionals are only accepted for injury or illness in Levels 8-10, but we believe our graduating seniors deserve the same opportunity. Starting this season, we are extending the petition process to ALL graduating seniors in Region 5!


Here’s What You Need to Know:

  • Who is eligible? Graduating seniors who cannot or could not compete at their state championship due to injury or illness.
  • Score Requirement: The athlete must have achieved a score at least 1 point higher than the regional qualifying score.
  • Doctor’s Note: A physician must confirm that the athlete will be cleared to compete by the Monday before the start of Regionals.
  • Deadline: All petitions must be emailed to region5usag+petition@gmail.com by 5 PM, 14 days prior to the start of the Regional Championship.


Why This Change?

We recognize that this is a major policy update, and we understand that many state championships have already taken place. Our intent is simple—to honor and celebrate our graduating seniors who have dedicated so much to this sport.
